Applications are invited from Engineering Graduates male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) (Technical) course in the Indian Army :
42nd SSC (Technical) for Men : 50 posts in various Engineering streams,
Age : 20-27 years
13th SSC (Technical) Women : 19 posts in various Engineering streams,
Age : 20-27 years
Widows of Defence Personnel : 02 posts,
Age : 19-29/20-31 years
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and MPS Rs.6000/-
How to Apply: Apply Online at Army recruitment website http://joinindianarmy.nic.in from 15/07/2013 to 16/08/2013 only.
General Instructions:
1. In case of UPSC Entries (NDA, IMA (DE) and OTA SSC (Non Tech, men and women)], wait for the UPSC Advertisement in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar/ UPSC website. Thereafter, apply to UPSC by filling UPSC application form ovailable in post offices or apply online to UPSC, as per instructions given by UPSC in the advertisement.
2. In case of other entries, details are as under:- NCC Entry (Men and Women).After advertisement is issued in Dec or Jun, download common application form from this website and submit form duly filled with requisite documents to respective NCC units/ Group HQ. War Widows and Wards of Battle Casualties. After downloading common application form from this website, post the form duly filled with attested photocopies of documents to Rtg Dte (Rtg-6),
3. Points To Note for Non-UPSC Entries. 10th Class Certificate, 12th Class Certificate and latest College education documents (final marksheet or previous semester marksheets or degree cert or provisional degree cert) are required to be attached as attested photocopies with most applications as given in the advertisement.
4. Please fill all details mentioned in the online application form , failing which the application is liable to be rejected. After applying online candidates are requested to take a print out of online application, paste his/her photograph in the space provided duly attested by gazetted officer.
5. Candidates are also required to carry one more ink signed copy of the application without fail alongwith the photograph(attested by Gazetted Officer) pasted on it, required original educational certificates and with a valid proof of identity to the Selection Centre when called for the interview.
6. It may be noted that depending upon the total number of applications received by this office for 10+2 TES Course/Technical Graduate Course(TGC) /Short Service Commission Technical(SSC Tech) Men &Short Service Commission Technical(SSC Tech) Women,
7. TGC candidates applying for Army Education Corps & Military farms are not permitted to apply online. They are advised to download “ Common Application Form” given in downloads on the Website and forward it duly filled by post to the address mentioned in the advertisement.
8. Government is not responsible for any compensation to the candidates or to their guardians/heirs for injuries sustained by them during the period of testing. However, facilities exist to attend to the candidates falling sick or sustaining injuries during their stay at the Centre.
