Job or Vacancy Description:DMRC invites applications from Civil/ Mechanical Engineers for following posts in DMRC :
Assistant Manager (Safety) : 06 posts (UR-05, SC-01), Age : 28 years, Pay Scale : Rs. 20600-46500
Mode of Selection: The candidates who fulfill the marks percentage criteria, age criteria and educational qualification, will be called for “Common Aptitude Test”
The Common Aptitude Test will consist of two Papers : Paper-I- General Aptitude, GK and current affairs, Decision making and problem solving, General English, Logical and analytical ability. Answer to be objective type Paper-II-English Comprehension, Precise writing, small essay, Paragraph writing. The Common Aptitude Test will be held on 13th July’2013 (Saturday). Names of the pre-qualified candidates for Common Aptitude Test will be displayed on our website on 05/07/13, by 5:00 pm along with other details like venue and time etc. No separate communication will be sent by post to the candidates individually.
Application fee : UR candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.200/- and SC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 50/- (for processing & postage charge) for the post. Eligible and interested candidates may apply as per the application format at Annexure-I enclosing a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED, payable at New Delhi indicating on the reverse of the DD, their name & address, telephone no. if any. Demand Drafts payable at locations other than Delhi / New Delhi will not be accepted. MO/PO or any other mode of payment is not acceptable. Candidates are advised to check the details of Demand Draft carefully before enclosing it with the application Form Candidates should retain a photocopy of their demand draft and application form for future reference. They should also keep sufficient numbers of copies of the same Photograph in reserve for future use, which they are using in the application form. The photograph should not be more than three months old.

General Instructions:
1. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a Joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi, has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Delhi.
2. Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and highly motivated Civil/Mechanical Engineers with full time course of at least one year duration in Safety Engineering /Management. The appointment shall be on direct recruitment basis as per details mentioned below.
3. Names of qualified candidates, short listed in the ratio of 1:5 (merit cum roster) will be put up on our website by 24/07/13. The interview will be held tentatively on 31st July’2013 at Metro Bhawan/Fire Brigade Lane/Barakhamba Road/New Delhi. The candidates will be subjected to two stages Selection Process (i) Interview
4. No separate communications by post will be sent to the candidates individually. Candidates are required to go through the instructions for interview displayed on our website and appear for the interview accordingly along with original copies of testimonials.
5. Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by DMRC. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure for the joining will be borne by the candidate himself/herself. T
6. The candidates selected for the posts of Assistant Manager will have to execute a surety bond of Rs. 1,50,000/- & Cost of training to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years, exclusive of the period in which he/She remains on leave (Leave without pay and Extraordinary Leave)
