IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2013 – 32 Non Teaching Vacancies:
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has issued notification
for the recruitment of the 32 Chief Medical Officer, Medical Officer,
Technical Officer, Assistant Executive Engineer and other vacancies.
Eligible candidates can send their applications with in 30 days from the
date of advertisement. Information regarding age limit, education
qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….

1. Chief Medical Officer: 01 Post
2. Medical Officer (Regular): 03 Posts
3. Medical Officer (Contract): 04 Posts
4. Technical Officer: 06 posts
5. Assistant Executive Engineer: 01 Post
6. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): 03 Posts
7. Assistant Librarian: 01 Post
8. Assistant Superintendent Workshop: 01 Post
9. Superintendent Workshop: 02 Posts
10. Principal Scientific Officer: 01 Post
11. Senior Scientific Officer: 02 Posts
12. Scientific Officer Grade I: 01 Post
13. Scientific Officer Grade II: 04 Posts
14. Executive Engineer: 02 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MD/MS in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least 11 years experience in a recognized hospital for Post No.1, MD/MS from a University, recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in the appropriate branch of a medicine for Post No. 2&3, M.Tech. in relevant area with good IInd class or equivalent for Post No.4, Bachelor degree in Civil engineering or equivalent for Post No.5. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- for the post No.1 to Post No.6 & 14. No application fee is required from IIT Roorkee employees, SC/ST candidates and Persons with disabilities and for the post at serial no. 07, 08 09, 10,11,12,13.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates send their applications in the prescribed format along with testimonials, prescribed fee and latest photograph in a closed envelope super scribed name of the post and Advertisement number and date, to Dy. Registrar (Admn-I), Establishment (A) Section, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee-247 667 (UA) with in Thirty days from the date of publication of advertisement.
